Fall

Fall is finally here. It seems like it has taken forever for the season and the weather to change. But the leaves are turning beautiful shades of red and orange, soccer season is coming to a close and school is half way done...for me at least!

Michial had a great soccer season. I am so impressed by Mike's coaching abilities. He took a team that had so many players who had never played before and made an incredible team that worked together and worked hard. Mike was chosen to coach an all star team and half our players were chosen as all star players!

I am half way through school and can't wait to be done with this anatomy class. It has been such a struggle to keep up with it. In the spring I will continue to go to school and will be taking a break from the sciences and just doing a fast track Psychology class.

Flu season has hit our house, well, bypassed everyone else and just hit me I should say. And boy was it nasty! I am feeling much better and ready to start preparing for a whirlwind of holidays coming up. I love the holidays though. My dad is supposed to come out for Christmas and New Years and I am just excited to start a new year full of new challenges, blessings and opportunities!

To kick off the fall we went to Bate's Nut Farm, our annual tradition. It was crazy for me to look back on the first picture we took of Michial there and his picture now... he was like 2 yrs our first trip. We had fun picking out our pumpkin, getting Michial's face painted and petting the animals. That same day we went up the street to a neighbors house for a pumpkin carving party. That was a lot of fun...we have a great neighborhood! Our pumpkin didn't win, but it turned out great! Its the first year I ever carved out of the book and not just made a lame smiley face. Mike and I also went to a costume party at some other friends of ours. I was a witch and Mike was...Mike(go figure).

So check out our pics..and hope your fall season is great!

Not our loss...our gift

Well, as many of you know our family has suffered a loss. On September 20th, Mike and I were informed that I had a miscarriage. Words can hardly describe the sadness and despair that we felt. We learned that the baby only grew to be 6wks 2days. Although we are sad, we know that it's spirit is in heaven with our Heavenly Father.

Thank you so much to all of our friends and family. Without you I don't know how I could get through this time. Your cards, letters, flowers, meals and hugs are what kept me together and from loosing my mind. Your prayers were heard and our hearts are slowly starting to heal. It is truly amazing how much love that baby's little soul brought us. It has strengthen relationships, renewed our faith in Christ and brought our family closer together.

Mike, Michial and I are going to go to a park this weekend and send some balloons toward heaven to our baby in effort to have some closure. I hope to get some pictures from this and post them soon.

Again, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We love each and every one of you.

Gosh, I am so clueless when it comes to my blog...I really try and keep it updated, and thanks to Ashley it's somewhat colorful now!

Michial started school and LOVES his teacher. He is doing really well in school and I am pleased when he comes home with 100% on his papers. His reading seems to have improved, which I am grateful for...although he would rather in front of his class than for me! His friend Jamason lent him the Magic Tree House books and he seems to like them pretty well. We have also sarted listening to the Adventure in Odyssey series on c.d in the car and he really enjoys them.

School started up for me as well and I am taking Anatomy. I have just a few more classes after this before I can register for nursing school. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! This class is MUCH harder than I expected, that's for sure. And when it's done, then I can sit back and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy till April.

I just have to say how thankful I am to have all my friends. I feel so blessed to have so many great relationships, friendships and awesome family. I know that I don't say it enough, but I love each and every one of you. Thank you for all that you do to keep me sane, keep me focused, help whenever I need help and always lend a smile or a hand!

Our Baby Bean!

ITS OFFICIAL!!! Tonight we saw our little bean sprout's heart beat. Everything looks good the only problem is that I am less along than I thought....I am 6 weeks exactly. The nausea is starting to kick in, but honestly that is a good sign! We told Michial and he is really excited, he even cried just a little bit! He is so special and will be such a good big brother. Here are the pictures of the ultrasound. Its amazing that you can see something so small already. We are so happy. (ps: I typed in purple b/c that's a girl color!!!!)

Soccer season has officially begun!

Michial has started another season of soccer. His team name is the Piranhas!! Mike is coaching the team and my sister in law Diana is assistant coach. His good friends Jamason and Cameron are on his team too! He had his first game last saturday and he actually scored a goal. He was so excited. They were up against some really tall kids and really held them. The other team won but Michial played so hard!

...and baby makes 4!!!

So as most of you know we found out that I am pregnant! We just found out this week and we have a scheduled ultrasound for Aug. 29th.

This baby is such a big surprise. Mike and I had really turned this desire over to God and had faith that in His time we would give us the desires of our heart. I prayed for a while that if His answer was no, that He would just take the desire away...it never did, it was always something I struggled with.

I just want to thank all the family and friends who have prayed with us, for us and had faith. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. I hope to blog often and keep everyone near and far up to date!

Just getting started

Ok, so I wanted to set this up for our friends and family to stop by and visit since most of them live scattered throughout the U.S. Plus it's the new "thing" so I have to jump on board!!! Enjoy

We are all doing great! Our family just got back from a trip to Spokeane, WA for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary! Can you believe it that is so long. We had such a great time hanging out with all of the family there. We took a lot of pictures and it was neat because Michial got to meet my one of my brothers Davey for the first time.

My Grandma Nancy on my mom's side is sick in the hospital and she's been put through the ringer with test after test, medication after medication trying to get this staph infection under control...so any thoughts and prayers for her would be greatly appreciated. I will keep you updated on that.

Michial is doing great. He is ready for the school year to be over! Only a few more weeks. He has lost his second tooth (those suckers just don't want to come out!) He is still doing karate and is awesome. He started sparring and now it seems like he is getting tougher! He is so smiley and brings a ton of joy and laughter to our family.

Gotta go for now! Hugs
